A new series of chocolate, So Free, will be among a wide range of products being launched at the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) starting on March 19th.
The trade showcase at London’s Excel Centre will feature a number of snacks, confectionery and ingredients business across the three day fair.
According to the team behind the So Free Range, which is owned by UK based Plamil Foods, its new range has been designed to be positioned as a product that puts pure enjoyment first while naturally fulfilling the needs of those seeking to avoid specific ingredients such as milk, gluten or nuts.
The series has been designed with high quality packaging and comes in Extra Dark, Tropical Orange, and Intense Mint through to ‘milky’ and White varieties.
The company’s managing director Adrian Ling explained that the business placed care, ethical values and authenticity into its range that uses entirely certified cocoa.
Mr Ling said: “It is clear there is a market gap to which our new So free brand completely meets consumer desires. Delicious chocolate, free, pure and ethical is a powerful combination which we deliver with a strong concept and marketing.”
The IFE event runs in parallel at the Excel with Pro2Pac event, taking place between March 20th-22nd.
Taking place every two years, the show features a number of major companies within the food and drink sector, ranging from DuPont, Krispy Kreme UK, Prince Foods and Wrigley-MARS.
In total, 120 exhibitors from around the world will be taking part, as well as a line up of industry speakers from within the packaging sector. For information, visit www.ife.co.uk and www.pro2pac.co.uk
