Everyone's talking about the credit crunch. When people talk a lot about something it's often because they do not know the answer. Now some of us do and all you have to do is vote online if your business is worried about the credit crunch on this site and then you can see the answer. See the vote to the left of this panel and click- that's simple - voila. Now as is stands more people are not worried about it than are in the confectionery industry. Now that's quite a result don't you think? Considering most industries are scaling over the falls into the abyss. We will run the survey again in the new year.
Tonight its the Kennedy's office party (YIPPEEE!) and everyone seems to be taken down by the flu virus or some other grotesque germ. Oh well, that's a bottle of champagne each then - force me@!

I am so sorry- I left the blog for so long. Well the truth is that the more I try to write about the food industry the more I go off on a tangent, like what is the point in buying tonnes of crap at Christmas just because we thought it was a good idea to buy presents on Christ's birthday?
If you come over to the UK and pop into Somerfield supermarket right now you can get a bottle of Moet for £23.99 in your trolly. Of course it depends on where you are. I took this photo today of the bottle (while its full) and another of my son Leon who made a mask today so we can all dance round the fire chanting and asking the spirits for even cheaper Champagne prices! So I am intrigued (especially this is for our French readers). How much do you pay for a bottle in your country in La Clair for example? Could be worth a visit!
One or two people have asked me where I am in the photo on my blog. Actually I was lying upside-down on a gravestone (a really horribly wet one too I remember). But you know what? After a while it was quite comfortable. And there is a reason why I did it.
