For once, I feel that my opening into to this issue is probably more avant garde than this Candid here which, when I read it again, is almost serious! Anyway, I thought I would let you know of a project that I am masterminding in the UK. Lick Paint and Sniff The food You Like

I just wrote about paint (from Anna Nova) that, wait for it, is made from 90% food ingredients, is non toxic and is coloured the same as the food it's named after. For example, pink champagne, ginger and wild boar, you name it your room can be painted the same colour as your favourite food.. So Why doesn't someone supply paint - in chocolate of course, with a pack of chocs to eat while you are painting. True art... come on, it is Easter after all and on average kids in the UK will be given 8 Easter Eggs per kid!! Really, no kidding, I heared that if no kids were given any its enough for (don't quote me) but a number of hospitals in the UK!

I wrote Candid this month and then binned it; could that be the best thing that I did this month? I love the not knowing of the consequences of our actions. It was a simple idea to say sod that its boring. The original piece that you will never see was like a friction car that did not get up the hill after frantically pushing it. Writing is like dough, you need to work it and knead it and if you have a bad ingredient, like I had, you are doomed. So I am going to write about ideas instead.

OK have you made your pledges? Have you finally decided what you are going to achieve this year in 2010? Yes we are now already into the next decade (thought I would remind you, as the last decade did go in a puff!) We hardly noticed the noughties, that means (2000-2009) by the way. What did you achieve?

Do you believe that its worth even making a resolution any more? Did you already try one in January and its long since gone? Like just three days later, and the diet [...]

I guess you have all heard of Linkedin and Twitter and I remember writing about the false 'friends' that I had from Face book last year. Yes, I did close that account in the end. Would You Name and Shame a Bad Payer?

I have recently provided a client (outside Europe) shall we say with a lot of editorial and a lot of advertising and - he never paid me. Not after months and months of calls, claims, letters and emails. It's now a year later and still I am owed (over 8000 euro). I guess he had no intention in not paying Kennedy's and now I see his adverts and articles in other magazines that have not been warned. The company even had a stand very close to mine at Interpack, when they openly had not paid us.

My wife came home with a tube of hair gel. I have found a new trick - if I apply the hair gel onto the defiant new grey hair patches they instantly look darker. Great! OK so flipping what you say and you would of course. Anyway while applying my morning slap on the head and quick brush (I would say a maximum of 2 minutes grooming), I noticed something rather amusing on the hair gel tube. It didn't say all the normal masculine words like:
FIRM HOLD
EXTRA STIFF
POWER GEL

2) Cadbury announced a 30% increase in profits
3) My children may be able to afford a flat when they grow up as prices crash
