Contented cows (as opposed to depressed ones) produce up to 500 more pints of milk a year than not-so-happy cows. So it’s proven... We can rest and put our feet up and say our lives are complete.

It’s true... A happy cow will produce more milk than a sad one. I am sure that if they had extended their research, they probably would have discovered that a happy chicken would lay more eggs and that animals in general, including humans, are more productive if they are happy.

It’s a very daring task to write a feature that has to last a whole year, and one that predicts what lies ahead for the confectionery industry. So, I had better tread carefully because many of you are learned Kennedy’s Confection readers and I know that you would quickly put me in my place if I slip up.

Nevertheless, I do seem to be quite good at predicting things, if I say so myself! OK guys, my wife is physic so I have an interesting advantage. She told me about the credit crunch starting in September about five years ago...

OK, we confess, we dressed up for Christmas take a look then, but quick we can only post this until our xmas video is wiped. I never knew they were all such good dancers at Kennedy's until they all hit the floor. So whatch out at ISM, we are en force to liven up the parties. Wishing everyone a very happy Xmas and new year.

.... while on the subject- will you be hanging out your stockings at Christmas? Do they do that all over the world? I keep putting out a nice silky black pair over the edge of the bed in a prominent position and hope for the best... Why we only can do that at Christmas I don't know. Enjoy your Christmas parties won't you, drink as much as possible be a fool and don't care what they think.  I shall take my camera for Monday morning blog.
