Positive half year for Zetar
Zetar24th Jan – Zetar Ltd in the UK have today reported revenue up 2.4% for the half year to 31 October 2011, to a total of £61.8 million compared to £60.3 million for the same period in 2010.

Zetar, who manufacture confectionery for the likes of Kinnerton Confectionery, Lir Chocolates and Horsley Hick & Flower, confirmed in their half-year report that confectionery operations showed “growth in revenue and profit with increasing contribution of everyday products”.

Ian Blackburn, Chief Executive of Zetar Plc, said: ”Innovation remains at the core of our business and the quality of our product development is endorsed by our portfolio of licensed brands. Whilst the outlook for Easter remains less certain than usual, due to the pronounced fall in consumer confidence, we remain positive about the strategic direction of the business.”
