Kandit of Croatia starts new chocolate production in Osijek

The Croatian confectionery producer Kandit has built a brand new plant in Croatia with a total investment of 9.97 million Euros. The company says that seven new lines will now be produced at this new facility. The brand new 7,000-square metre factory will have the capacity of 3,800 tonnes per year and production will still continue at their existing site that produces 6,500 tonnes. Sales for the company have risen three per cent in the last nine months compared to the same period last year. Kandit exports 60 per cent of its products, mostly to Hungary and Austria. in addition to local markets.
