Ever since the merger of Mars and Wrigley last year, we have been
expecting news about the next big deal and Cadbury’s name has been much

Kraft’s offer yesterday, of £10.2 billion and of Cadbury’s rejection of
this offer, has led industry commentators to claim that this could just
be the start of a prolonged battle for Cadbury.
