ANGUS  KENNEDY - Editor and Publisher
I'm the boss! Ask me anything about the confectionery market and I can (well probably!) give you a sensible answer. I also (as from Sept 09) am the editor of Kennedy's Confection magazine, our websites and related publications.I visit producers from all over the world and run key interviews with people in the industry for publication. I leave the news and general editorial up to two very capable journalists - Katie and Kristy who find the news well before me anyway!

My mum and pop were in the industry forever, and I was born into it. So 45 years of knowledge and counting! I was taken to my first trade show in the confectionery sector at the age of 13 (see my blog and all is revealed!). I love working in publishing and helping people connect. I also happen to be able to sell too, which comes in handy. I used to sell adverts for 30 years so that teaches you a lot! I have a lot of respect for sales people, it's a very tough job! I always think that knowing how to sell is the greatest gift you can be given. Well OK, writing ain't that bad either!

Anyway, publishing is a team effort and Kennedy's has a great team. It is our job to make sure you connect with the right people to do more business. So here we are, at your service.

But watch out! Please don't send me old hat news that was published before. It just won't make it into the magazine! Readers know more that we do as a collective force, always.

ROBBIE PATTERSON - Production Manager
I am here to collate and check all the adverts that Mark and Angus sell. I spend a lot of time on the phone chasing copy and preparing the whole magazine - adverts and editorial - for publishing. I am also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the website, so whether you have a question about your pdf being okay for print, or your ad banner being okay for web; whether you have a question about the bleed dimensions for your new advert or production deadlines, or anything else to do with production, I am most likely to be the one you should speak to.

SOPHIE KENNEDY - Subscription Manager
I am the subscription manager so, if you would like a new subscription, wish to renew your subscription or if your issues have not arrived on time please contact me. I can also set you up with a fantastic online digital subscription as well. I am French, so as I live in the UK, I like to speak French to all my French clients as well! KRISTY HENNEY - Journalist

Hi, I'm the general contact for your news and features in Kennedy's Confection. I love travelling so I'm in the right job - Kennedy's is a fully international business. I keep the news sections up to date and plan the features in Kenndy's Confection. You can always contact me if you have a feature suggestion and can't get hold of Angus! Before this, I was teaching English as a foreign language, and now I enjoy working in publishing. I also keep an eye on the editors' spelling, he openly confesses to not being able to spell!

Contact me for any news, new products and general article submissions for Kennedy's Confection and our online products. I am also at quite a few of the trade shows and I'm always looking for interesting interviews too.

KATIE EARLAM - Journalist

Hi, I'm Katie and I kicked-off my career with a degree in English Literature and Language from Newcastle University. I have written for the Evening Standard Newspaper and London Glass magazine, and have gained some broadcast experience with the guidance of NBC journalists. I am heading up Kennedy's super exciting new newspaper to the food industry, Food and Drink News Review. The newspaper focuses on what has been said about the industry from a business perspective. This position sets me free to write honestly and objectively about events in the food industry around the world. So if your enquiry is anything to do with food, especially ingredients, let me know.
